Blog Advertising And The Radar

Blog search engines such as the popular, is a great place to start looking for targeted niche blogs. This can be: Technorati or through a Google Blog Search. Anyone from Belgian beer drinkers to graduate medical students to groups of people interested in hiking across the Andes Mountains, should be access. From small audiences to very tight groups of people with passion over similar interests, they are reached wonderfully by the various openx alternative blogs.

On blogs, one way to go about advertising is to give the bloggers with the authority for free copies of what you're trying to promote. This is just a good way to make the bloggers feel important and have them getting to sing your praises. They can name drop when a company is giving them free stuff because for them, it helps to continue to establish their authority in their industry.Yet for some,  it clearly gets your product seen by the exact people who are part of your target demographic.

It is  with software products and  virtually all types of products that can be shipped easily to bloggers such as mobile phones, gift cards, jewelry and other small to medium items, that are included in the work for this strategy. The  blogger that write about environmental issues get sent new "green" gadgets and trendy organic foods but, bloggers that write book reviews are sent books by publicists.

Utilizing paid advertising is another way to use blog advertising to your advantage, which generally falls into either paid reviews or paid traditional advertising. The  bloggers will review your product for a fee for paid reviews. Even though you're paying, you still have little or no say in exactly what they will say or how they will review your products or services. You should also keep in mind that numerous of these bloggers feel the need to disclose whether or not their review has been sponsored or not.

A host of decent pay-per-view websites will be presented in an online search for paid reviews on a search engine. These websites do a good job of saving time for the advertiser because the alternative is to seek out individual bloggers who must agree to write a review for you. Moreover, this method is often rewarding but quite inefficient.

Another option is the Paid blog advertising because there are a host of websites that do this quite successfully such as blogads and CrispAds. This industry is very much still a new one because there are no set rules or accepted methods to doing things. While blog advertising is a new industry, this is growing rapidly with the growth of the Internet. Old numbers and metrics do not seem to apply with blogs and podcasts in a way that they do with magazines and radio, and  this is the reason why there are a lot of incorrect information and lack of knowledge when it comes to what is and what is not effective.
